September Imprimis - The Constitution and Limited Government

If you do not subscribe to Hillsdale College's monthly Imprimis, a free publication, by mail or email, this would be a good time to start. They are academically sound explanations of some aspect of government and this month's issue does not disappoint. You could learn a lot from reading it here.

Take your time, parse it and understand what the author is saying.  What I got from it is that limited government is not necessarily weak government, but means that the Federal government should stick to the powers enumerated for it in the Constitution.

Ask yourself why Liberals want to undermine and change the Constitution by working around it.  It would be to their advantage to ignore it because the things they want to do and impose upon us are nowhere to be found in that document, nor in the Declaration of Independence.  If you don't know what is in it, or how it is being applied, take advantage of the opportunities like this one to learn all you can and be prepared to defend it in word as well as in deed.
