They got all spun up on Fox News and the local radio today, thinking some random idiots were terrorists. Seems you can be a French Moroccan Muslim tourist and not violate your religious beliefs by getting all juiced up in a couple of bars then play around in the Courthouse. But wait, that's not all! With the porous border only about 150 miles away and all of West Texas out there for non-tourists to infiltrate this state, we stand a great chance of having terrorists among us already, not to mention weapons that can damage a lot of our infrastructure.
The knuckleheads caught at 2 am this morning had photos in their rented RV of some decidedly untouristy places, like water towers, power stations, government installations, etc, as well a couple of beer bottles. What? Only a couple?
But what about those photos? Look around like a terrorist as you travel in your hometown and see what kind of places could be hit with satchel bombs or worse and what kind of havoc would ensue. Imagine a few key overpasses knocked down or severely damaged and what that would do to traffic. Then combine that with another sneak attack on the scale of 9/11 happening simultaneously and ask yourself how would you and your town react, much less respond? Are we ready for thousands of these events going off at once? What then?
If you believe in chaos, that's what then. And do you believe that a government that encourages the uncivil Occupy Wall Street vermin to create havoc would not step in and take advantage of the situation? Still think martial law and the suspension of the 2012 elections are just the stuff of action novels?
