The Republican hopefuls square off again tonight in another quiz show, this time sponsored by the Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute on CNN at 7 pm Central.
The questioning/quizzing may be somewhat saner, but the advantage to us is that any one of the eight up there on camera will absolutely glow in comparison to the current occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Here is Heritage's preview and ways to follow up on how the candidates really do: CLICK HERE.
The CNN viewers who tune in to see Wolf Blitzer trade insults with Newt will see something they never expected. Rational thought when it comes to foreign policy. Their hero has none. He favors the Islamists and terrorists who just want to destroy Israel and all Jews anywhere. His sympathies lie there, not with their own self interests.
Of course, if they were dumb enough to vote for him anyway in '08, they might not get it, but the heartening part of this is that they will be exposed to the truth if only they are brave enough to accept.
Will I be watching? Not if there is a football game on ESPN2 or a re-run of Criminal Minds on someplace. These things attract very few with open minds. Most are looking for the gotcha moments to use to destroy a candidate. That is the way the quiz is formulated, to create maximum damage and clear the way for the One to be reelected. Watch for the differences in next year's actual Presidential Debates, whomever our candidate turns out to be.
The media will bend over backwards to make the Messiah look messianic and his opponent look like the Devil. Oh, and for those buying into the stories out there that Super O should step aside for Billary, good luck with that dream.
Narcissists step aside for no one.
