The writer of this piece is a Libertarian, in fact, he was their Vice Presdential candidate at one time. Putting that aside, he makes a gigantic point HERE that may infuriate some in my own family who are civilian government retirees or workers.
There are many causes of our economic decline but this is one that will only get worse, especially on the state and local government level. The examples in this article are enough to convince me that something must be done to stop this avalanche.
