Ask not what your country can take from you, rather, ask what they WILL take if you are part of the 80% not helping out to pressure Congress to leave your earned benefits alone. The long knives are out on the budget in D.C. and we need to stop the stupid spending. But we don't need to save the country on the backs of our active duty military. Nor do we need to ask our retirees and veterans to take the brunt of it, in direct contravention of promises made and soon to be broken.
The Military Officers Association of America is one of the groups in the forefront, fighting for you. But, as you will see in this recent article CLICK HERE. they are fighting a losing battle if only 20% of their members are on board, fighting the good fight. Not to mention, all the others not members of MOAA or similar organizations.
When the other shoe drops, and it will, is too late to do anything.
